Stan Contois passed away in 2020 from a 7 year battle with Alzheimer's.  He had an incredible passion for classic cars back to his high school years.  He purchased two cars back in the day, a 1955 Ford Sunliner and a 1965 Ford Falcon, and the family still has these cars in his garage in Essex Junction.  Stan attended many car shows in the state of Vermont for years and the family decided the best way to honor him would be to start a car show in his memory to benefit others with this terrible disease.  We always say, one of the hardest moments for us was to take the keys to his classic cars away from him when he was no longer able to safely drive them.  So take a trip down memory lane and Thank You for supporting our cause.

Stan purchased the Sunliner at CP Smith Ford in Burlington, on 5/5/55.  He drove to Kansas many times where he met his wife Judy, and they were married in 1959.  Stan sold the car to his buddy, Dick Fosher in 1975.  Dick and his Family restored the 1955 to the condition it's in today.  The car was never driven in the winters and always garaged.  When Dick passed away in 2014, we received a phone call offering us the opportunity to purchase the car back for Stan.  Our family purchased the car for him, gave him the keys and was able to enjoy the car for at least 4 years before the onset of Alzheimer's.   Browse through the history of pictures of this amazing car.
